Forja — website and app builder
Type what you want. Get a real website and app back.
Hosted, live, and ready to take payments. No code. No agency. No three-week wait for a first draft you then have to argue about.
This is the whole product. There is no second screen.
You type on the left. The site builds on the right. What Forja guessed is listed underneath, so you can correct it instead of hunting through settings.
Your prompt

Burst pipe at 2am? We answer the phone.
Fixed 95 pound first hour, then 60 an hour. Two vans, no call centre.
Same build also ships as an iOS and Android app shell, sharing this content.
What you get
Five things, and we mean all five.
- 01
A website that is actually finished
Pages, copy, prices, opening hours, the lot. Not a starter template with grey boxes where your content should be. You read it, you fix the two lines that are wrong, you publish.
- 02
Booking and deposits, on day one
Calendar, slot lengths, travel radius, deposit amount, reminder texts. This is the part every other builder leaves to a plugin marketplace, and it is the only part that makes you money.
- 03
The same thing as a phone app
An iOS and Android shell that shares your content and your booking flow. One build, two places your customers can find you.
- 04
Your code, if you ever want it
Every project exports as plain Next.js and TypeScript. If you outgrow us, or you hire a developer who hates us, you take the whole thing and go. No export fee, no lock-in clause.
- 05
Changes by typing, not by dragging
“Put the phone number in the header and add a winter boiler offer.” Thirty seconds later it is live, and the rest of the site still matches.
Where we sit
We gave up on being a builder for everybody.
Lovable, Wix ADI and v0 are all good at the same thing: getting anyone from nothing to something that looks plausible. We spent a year trying to win that race and kept losing to companies with more people than us.
So we picked one industry instead. Plumbers, groomers, roofers, salons, studios, movers — businesses where somebody books a slot, pays a deposit and turns up. Every hour we spend now goes into that one shape of business rather than into another framework nobody asked for.
The trade is simple. If you are building a social network, use something else. If you need bookings in the door by Friday, we are the better tool and it is not close.
In practice that means
- Deposits
- Taken at booking, set per service
- Service area
- Postcode radius, travel surcharge
- Quotes
- Job-size pricing, sent as a link
- Reviews
- Asked for by text, three days after
- Local search
- Service-area pages and business schema
- Out of hours
- Different rates, different messaging
“I described my grooming round on a Tuesday morning and took a booking before my first appointment. The price-by-breed-size thing was already in there. I did not ask for it twice.”
“We had tried two of these. Both gave us something pretty that could not take a deposit.”
“I look after sites for eleven salons. Typing the change instead of opening a design tool turned a week into an afternoon.”
Forja is in private beta and these three are written stand-ins, kept here until we have permission to quote the real thing. We would rather say that than let you assume otherwise.
Before you give us an email address
Have it draft your build, here, now.
Same planning step the real builder runs first. It writes the page list, the modules and the order to launch them in.
Switched off right now
This runs on your own AI key, and there isn't one set yet.
Add OPENAI_API_KEY or GEMINI_API_KEY to the project secrets and this box starts drafting real plans. We'd rather show you an off switch than a canned demo pretending to be live.

One booking pays for the year.
Nineteen dollars sits under the premium tools on purpose. We would rather have more of you than more margin per head.

Prices are in US dollars. There are lower regional tiers in forty-odd countries, because nineteen dollars is not nineteen dollars everywhere. If you run sites for more than a handful of businesses, write to us — there is a studio rate and it is not on this page yet.
Questions we actually get
Asked and answered.
01Do I need to know anything technical?
No. You write sentences about your business the way you would explain it to a new employee. If you do happen to write code, the export button is there and the project is a normal Next.js repo.
02Why only local service businesses?
Because general builders have to be shallow about everything. We only have to be good at one shape of business: someone books a slot, pays a deposit, gets a reminder, leaves a review. That lets us ship the boring logic instead of leaving it to you.
03What happens when my prompt is vague?
Forja makes a decision and shows you what it decided, in plain English, next to the result. You argue with it in the box. That is faster than a form with forty fields.
04Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro. Point it at us and SSL is handled. Free projects live on a forja.site address.
05Is my site going to look like everyone else's?
Honest answer: there is a family resemblance, the way two well-set books resemble each other. Forja builds a type scale and palette from your logo rather than recolouring one template, and you can override any of it by asking.
06What is the catch with the free tier?
One project, our subdomain, our name in the footer. It is there so you can see the thing working before you pay us nineteen dollars.
Say what you want. We'll have it built by lunch.
We hand out a batch of seats every Tuesday. Leave your email and we'll send you one, with a short note from whoever is on support that week.
